There are a range of services out there that can help if you’re feeling stressed, anxious or just not quite yourself.

. The NHS Mental Health website is an excellent place to find information and help.

. Turning Point Talking Therapies are always there to listen and provide support. You can refer yourself if you don’t want to discuss matters with your GP. They also have regular webinars that are free to join if you’re not quite feeling ready for a one-on-one chat, or are just looking for information.

. NightOwls is a confidential support line for children and young people available between 8 pm and 8 am. There is also an online chat option available if you’re more comfortable talking through messages.



. KOOTH offers free, same-day. 24/7 support for 11-25 year old’s (in Wakefield). They are here to provide you with mental health counselling, advice, activities, articles, even podcasts and much more. A young person can sign themselves up anonymously on the website with no criteria to meet and no waiting lists. There is also a live chat messenger option between 12pm – 10pm on weekdays and 6pm-10pm on weekends.
